At the Children's Cooperative Nursery School, we provide a secure and nurturing environment where each child may develop self confidence, independence, respect for others, and a joy for learning. This is accomplished through play, structured activities, and positive interactions with peers and adults. Our cooperative structure supports families, and allows parents to play an integral role in their child's early education.
We are an independent, non-profit preschool located in the heart of Newton Center. Browse through the links on the left for more information and feel free to contact us with any additional questions.

The Coop Fall Fundraiser was a Success!
The Coop Booth at the Harvest FairThanks to everyone for helping to make this year's Children's Coop Harvest Fair Fundraiser a success. We're so glad the weather cooperated and feel so fortunate the Auction was able to raise $3000 for the Coop Scholarship Fund.
This year's effort featured over 70 items from local friends and merchants and included a special piece of art from our own faculty member, Zhanna Cantor. We had great fun handing out Coop balloons and also running our first-ever Coop Challenge Guessing Game. An extra thank you to all those who took a stab at our Jars. The answers to the number of items in each are: Legos = 209 Balls = 127 Animals = 77 Halloween Candies = 96.
