Age Requirements

• Four Day Class:

• 3 years old by September 1st of the year child enters school.

• Five Day Class:

• 4 years old by September 1st of the year child enters school.

Admissions

The application process begins in the fall of the year prior to intended enrollment. The timetable is as follows:

• Summer - Early Fall

• Prospective parents inquire by phone. School visits scheduled.

• November 1st-30th

• Individual school tours hosted by Co-op parents. Parents observe classes in session and meet teachers. Those who wish to apply receive an application form at time of visit.

• December 1st

• Applications due ($45 nonrefundable fee).

• December 15th

• Admissions decisions made. Enrollment contracts are sent, and must be returned within 10 days. Waiting list is established if classes are full.

• After January 1st

• Rolling admission available as needed if spaces remain open.

Admission to the Coop is on a first come, first served basis, based on the order in which inquiries are received by phone or email during the prior summer and fall. Priority is given to siblings of former and currently enrolled students and to members of the church that leases space to the Coop. The director also strives to balance each class with respect to age and gender. Our school is open to all, regardless of religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, cultural heritage, political beliefs, or marital status of parents. Financial assistance is available.

Now is the time to plan for next September. The Children's Cooperative Nursery School is now accepting applications for Fall 2009. Call or email now to schedule a visit.
